SkyWorld Development Bhd is a leading property developer who sought a custom-branded tenant management system to enhance the resident experience and integrate smart rental features into their app — while maintaining full branding control.
Why the System Was Built
SkyWorld wanted to level up their resident mobile app without building a tenant management platform from scratch. The key requirements were clear:
- Enhanced Resident App — Add advanced tenant management capabilities directly into the existing SkyWorld mobile app
- White-Label Branding — The solution needed to look and feel like a native SkyWorld product, not a third-party tool
- Seamless Authentication — Residents should never leave the SkyWorld ecosystem — no separate logins or redirects
- Smart Community Features — Visitor management, facility booking, and announcements without a complete app redevelopment
"We needed a partner who could embed a full tenant management experience into our app — without our residents ever knowing it's a separate platform."
Our Solution
We adapted our proven iBilikPlus tenant management platform into a fully white-labelled system, deeply integrated into SkyWorld's existing mobile app:
Full White Label Branding
Complete visual and functional adaptation reflecting SkyWorld's brand identity — from colours and typography to UI patterns and user flows. Residents interact with what feels like a native SkyWorld feature.
Web App Integration
Skyblox was fully integrated into SkyWorld's app via an embedded web app tab. Users access tenant features without switching apps or contexts — everything lives within the SkyWorld ecosystem.
SSO Integration
SkyWorld authenticates user credentials and passes them securely to our system via API, generating a signed URL for direct access. Residents tap once and they're in — no separate registration, no duplicate accounts.
Smart Tenant Management
- Visitor Management — Pre-register visitors with QR codes, real-time arrival notifications, and guard verification
- Facility Booking — Residents reserve community facilities directly from the app with real-time availability
- Announcements — Property managers broadcast community news, maintenance notices, and events to all residents instantly
Multi-Property Support
The system supports multiple SkyWorld communities under one unified backend — each with its own branding customizations while sharing the same robust infrastructure.
Technical Achievements
Three critical technical challenges made this project unique:
- Custom API Authentication Flow — We designed a signed URL generation system that maintains session integrity between SkyWorld's app and our embedded platform, ensuring secure handoff without exposing credentials
- Embedded Web App Optimization — The web app was optimized for fast, responsive performance inside a mobile web view — matching native app speed and responsiveness
- White Label Customization Engine — Full UI/UX rebranding from the iBilikPlus codebase, allowing rapid deployment for future property developer partnerships
Tech Stack
Built on a proven, scalable architecture adapted for embedded deployment:
Results & Impact
The white-label integration delivered measurable outcomes for SkyWorld:
- SkyWorld's app enhanced with advanced tenant features — fully branded and indistinguishable from native functionality
- Seamless user journey — residents never leave the SkyWorld ecosystem for tenant management
- 100% real-time integration between user data and tenant services via SSO
- 60%+ reduction in development cost and time compared to building from scratch — achieved through white-label adaptation of the proven iBilikPlus platform
- Multi-community ready — the architecture supports onboarding additional SkyWorld properties with minimal configuration
Key Takeaways
White-label integration is harder than building standalone — the product needs to disappear into someone else's brand while maintaining full functionality. The SSO flow was the make-or-break feature: if login felt clunky or redirected users outside the SkyWorld app, the entire embedded experience would break down.
The key insight was treating the web app as a "micro-frontend" rather than a separate product. By optimizing for embedded performance and designing the authentication flow around signed URLs, we made tenant management feel like a native feature — not a bolt-on. This approach now serves as our template for future white-label partnerships with other property developers.
