A seasoning brand selling both to home cooks and to commercial kitchens has two very different buyers on one website. Optimum Technology built Vegetalk an online store that serves the retail shopper and the wholesale buyer without either getting in the other's way.

About Vegetalk

Vegetalk Food Supplies Malaysia produces plant-based granulated seasonings made from mushrooms and vegetables — a range built on 100% plant ingredients with no preservatives and no added MSG, positioned as a substitute for MSG and salt. The core line covers shiitake mushroom, flower mushroom and vegetable seasoning blends, with retail pricing from RM16.90 to RM38.90. The brand carries ISO 9001 and HACCP certification, is Halal certified, and holds Singapore SME 500 Award recognition, with quality control running from farm to factory.

What we built

The store is a responsive WordPress and Elementor build, structured so both audiences find their path quickly.

  • Retail storefront — direct e-commerce for home cooks, with the product range presented pack by pack
  • B2B track — bulk packaging and commercial supply for restaurants, hotels and retailers
  • Loyalty programme — points-based rewards, earning one point per ringgit spent
  • Certification badges — ISO 9001, HACCP, Halal and the SME 500 Award surfaced prominently, since these are what a commercial buyer checks first
  • Recipe content — usage ideas that help a first-time buyer picture the product in their own kitchen
  • Support — customer testimonials, an FAQ, and WhatsApp and email contact

The outcome

Putting the certifications in front of the fold does a specific job here: a hotel procurement buyer and a home cook are looking for different reassurance, and the badges answer the commercial buyer immediately while the recipes and testimonials do the work for retail. This is the kind of dual-audience e-commerce build our website design service delivers. You can see it at the Vegetalk website.
