A machinery dealer's website has one job that most brochure sites never face: a contractor arrives knowing the tonnage they need and the job they need it for, and everything else is noise. Optimum Technology built PLS Machinery a catalogue-led site organised exactly that way.

About PLS Machinery

PLS Machinery Pte Ltd has served the Singapore construction market since 1984, dealing in excavators, road rollers and dumpers. The company positions itself as a one-stop service station covering the full lifecycle of a machine — buy, sell, rent, repair and trade-in — with repair service offered exclusively to its own customers. Their fleet spans excavators from 1 to 35 tonnes, road rollers from 1 to 10 tonnes, and dumpers in the 2 to 3 tonne class, carrying machines from Kobelco, Sumitomo, Kubota, Yanmar, Sakai, Hamm, New Holland and Thwaites.

What we built

We structured the site around how a contractor actually shops. Rather than a single undifferentiated equipment page, machines are split into their own categories — excavators, road rollers and dumpers — each browsable and stated by tonnage class, so a visitor can narrow to the right machine before reading a word of copy.

Category browsing
Excavators, road rollers and dumpers as separate paths
Tonnage-first specs
Machines presented by the number buyers search on
Brand credentials
Manufacturer marques carried across the fleet
Five-way service framing
Buy, sell, rent, repair and trade-in presented up front
Track record
40+ years and fleet range as headline figures
Direct enquiry
Phone and WhatsApp on every screen

The outcome

The result is a fast, responsive site where a contractor can go from landing page to the right tonnage class to a WhatsApp message in under a minute — which is roughly the attention a plant hire enquiry gets on a live job site. This is the kind of practical, catalogue-driven build our website design service delivers. You can see it at the PLS Machinery website.
