Buying a recon or used car is a financing decision as much as a car decision. Most buyers walk in knowing their monthly budget, not the cash price. Optimum Technology built JE Auto a site around that: every car shows what it costs per month, and buyers can start from their budget and see the cars that fit it.

What we built
The most important choice was to price every car per month as well as in cash. Each listing card and car page shows an estimated monthly instalment next to the RM price, based on a stated down payment, interest rate and loan tenure. A budget slider on the homepage takes this further: a buyer sets what they can pay each month, from RM1,000 to RM6,000 and above, and the site shows the cars in that range. A buyer no longer has to work out the loan maths before deciding whether a car is worth a WhatsApp message.
For buyers who know what they want, a quick search in the hero filters by condition, brand, model, body type and price. An advanced panel adds state, year, mileage, transmission and colour. Listing cards carry what a buyer scans for first: a Recon, Used or Consignment badge, the year, registration status, mileage and transmission. Each car has its own readable URL, so a single listing can be shared on WhatsApp or found through search.
The site also has to bring in stock, not only sell it. The sell section turns a car owner’s enquiry into three steps: tell us the car, add four photos, get an offer. The same flow covers consignment and trade-in, so JE Auto receives the details and photos it needs to value a car before the first conversation.
Trust comes from the dealer’s real customers rather than from marketing copy. A “happy owners” gallery links to handover posts on Instagram, Google reviews sit on the homepage, and an FAQ answers the questions buyers ask most: recon versus used, loans and down payments, trade-ins, inspections, warranty and buying from another state. Contact runs through WhatsApp and Google Maps directions, so an enquiry reaches the showroom directly.
Technology
The site is built with Next.js, with car listings and photos served from Supabase. The design is clean and photo-led, because in this market the car photos are what sell the car. This is the kind of conversion-focused build our website design service delivers. You can see it on the JE Auto website.
